International E-Waste Day is a crucial opportunity to spotlight the fastest-growing waste stream worldwide.

The UK is no exception, and this year, Recycle Your Electricals is turning the spotlight on something many of us overlook - unwanted and broken cables.

We all have that drawer full of tangled, forgotten cables—old phone chargers, broken USB cords, or flimsy wires we thought about throwing in the bin.

But did you know that by recycling them, we could recover thousands of kilograms of valuable copper? Copper that could be reused to create lifesaving hospital equipment or even help power electric vehicles.

By recycling, you’re not just decluttering; you’re making a tangible environmental impact. If 1 million people recycle just one cable, we could prevent at least 5,000 kg of copper from going to waste!
